Know Any Olympians in El Cerrito, Kensington?

With anticipation building for the Olympic games starting July 27 in London, we'd like to acknowledge the Olympic athletes in El Cerrito and Kensington. If you know of any who don't mind being identified, please let us know.

If you read the front-page articles Sunday in the San Francisco Chronicle, you know that the first woman ever to be named head coach of the U.S. Olympic women's swim team is Teri McKeever of El Cerrito.

As anticipation builds for the 2012 summer Olympics beginning July 27 in London, Patch would like to highlight the Olympic athletes, both past and present, who live or work in El Cerrito and Kensington.

We know of a couple of local Olympians who competed in past games, including Sayaka Matsumoto in judo and Andy Toro in canoeing, and we'd like to learn of any others.
