How about that. A criminal with a gun. I thought the state had that all handled by passing more strict gun laws and leaving the honest citizen vulnerable!

When Computer Time opened I thought it looked kind of shady. A quick internet search confirmed that it was a place for online gambling similar to the ones that Pittsburgh and Hayward are trying to get rid of. Doesn't surprise me to hear that it got robbed. I do wonder how they were able to obtain a business license from the city, though.

Another similar business on the Avenue less than a mile away. Legality is questionable.

I went there one day after a power outage to see if I could do some work on my own laptop. They said they didn't have any network connections I could use and no way to transfer my files to one of their machines. I don't think they even had MS Office. The few customers in the place were playing casino-style games. I ended up going to Carrow's and using their free WiFi connection.

It is not gambling at Computertime it is Sweepstakes which are legal and Enter_net does have internet usage printing copying faxing and a graphic art designer. Why do people talk about things they know nothing about maybe they should find out something before they waste their time with an opinion if you do not know what is the reality of the situation what good is it to say anything about it?
Cynthia Powell February 24, 2013 at 05:48 AM
enter_net has internet access office supplies printing copying faxing and graphic design consulting for all multi media needs one might have.
Cynthia Powell February 24, 2013 at 05:52 AM
Computertime is a very nice looking business i thought, what is shady about it? It is not somewhere to gamble it is sweepstakes i believe and that is legal in California.

Maybe if the Police would take care of the crimes in El Cerrito and stop using 3 police officers and 3 squad cars to pull over people because they have a break light out (not even the left and right one the middle light) it would not have robberies stabbings and panhandlers out of control on their streets. did not issue a fix it ticket though what a waste of taxpayer money that is,.and in Richmond city limits.
