Update: March 23, 10:45 a.m.: This event has been canceled because of a forecast of rain. The city intends to reschedule. Residents can sign up online to receive an email about when the event will be held at www.el-cerrito.org/streetplay

On Sunday, March 25, the city of El Cerrito will turn Key Boulevard at the intersections of Conlon Avenue and Humboldt Street into a car-free bike zone for community members to enjoy another "street play" event with games, entertainment and other activities.

The outdoor "Street Play Sunday," from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., follows the "Alberrito Streets" event on Aug. 28, when the city joined with the City of Albany and closed off part of Ashbury Avenue and Key Route Boulevard for a big outdoor community play date. (You can see scenes of that event here.)
