Growing up in Chicago with the Art Institute as my first love, and then as a UC Berkeley architectural student in the ’60s, I’ve had three diverse careers – as a licensed architect, an art museum director and now as Realtor/owner of Marvin Gardens Real Estate with offices in El Cerrito, Kensington, Berkeley and Pt. Richmond. My life has also been informed by traveling the world, having visited five continents, served in the Peace Corps and raised two beautiful daughters locally. I find that I approach life first as an artist using my creativity to solve problems and second as an "activist" who loves to serve my community. I’ve served on the boards of many local non-profits working for the benefit of children and the arts, including founding the Kensington After School Enrichment Program. I have served as the President of the Berkeley Association of Realtors, and am currently the Chair of El Cerrito’s Environmental Quality Committee.
