About Madame
Christina Van Horn has been a journalist for more years than she cares to remember, working for the Boston Globe, the Associated Press and various information technology magazines. She was an editor at the first daily electronic newspaper, Computer Industry Daily, New York City, a consulting editor for information technology guru Esther Dyson and editor for the New School for Social Work newspaper in New York City. Van Horn also wrote speeches for the New York City commissioner of the world's largest municipal agency, and edited a bestseller non-fiction book. She took a recent break to work as a color designer, but has returned to writing and editing. At Wellesley College, she was graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude. During that time, she did research for two years at the Wellesley College Center for Research on Women. Among her community activities, she was recently an Albany Rotary Club president and is a past member of the El Cerrito Rotary Club. She is a member of the Albany, El Cerrito and El Sobrante Friends of the Libraries.
