This agency, more than any other, serves as the de facto city government for Kensington. It not only oversees the police department but also approves contracts for the parks and recreation program and garbage service. It has a board for issues about traffic, paths, and much more involving the local community. The five current Board members are elected by the community that they serve. Board meetings are held monthly on the second Thursday of the month.
