The Kensington library is conveniently accessible for the hill folk of Kensington and El Cerrito. The library, located in a large trailer-style building, has ample parking in the lot outside. It is situated near a spacious park, and the trail leading to Kensington Elementary School starts on the street above the library. The employees are helpful and friendly, eager to offer recommendations or assist visitors in finding a specific request.
- Hours: Mon, Tue, noon - 8pm; Thu, 10am - 6pm; Fri, 1pm - 5pm; Sat, 10am - 5pm; Wed, Sun, closed.

- Book donation information: The Friends of the Kensington Library have book sales benefiting the library; donations are accepted. Please bring large donations on Tuesdays or Fridays between 1 and 3.
