El Cerrito now has its own El Cerrito-made beer with the opening of Elevation 66 on September 1, 2011. Head brewer David Goodstal co-owns the business with former Pyramid Brewery colleagues Brian P. Kelly and Kayvan Sabeghi and with his wife, Esther Goodstal. In addition to its own house-made beers and craft beers from other breweries, the 50-seat establishment features artisan food and includes pub staples like hamburgers and fish and chips.
