Join El Cerrito's Green Teams!
On March 26, from 9 a.m. to noon, volunteers will clean up trash and debris from Cerrito Vista Park and surrounding areas. Cerrito Vista, a heavily used park, is among the city's "dirty hot spots," with trash accumulating at its edges and beneath its trees.
If we have time, we can also clean surrounding areas, including the area around Portola school and the entrance to the Hillside Nature Area, on Navellier near Seaview Place.
Meet at 9 a.m. on Pomona Street near Moeser Lane, at the entrance to the park. The city will supply tools. Join us after the cleanup for refreshments and a chance to socialize and meet your neighbors.
