Join us as we take part of the "Worldwide Work Party" to urge action to curb global climate change. You can find out about dozens of local events www.350.org.

Today we will help to restore Codornices Creek, Berkeley's and Albany's only steelhead stream. You'll also have the opportunity to tour restoration projects along the creek, from a 14-year-old "daylighting" and community orchard created by volunteers to an ongoing creation of a new channel, bike path, and outdoor classroom. You will have a chance to learn about how global climate change threatens our magnificent steelhead and salmon -- as well as other species, including our own.

All ages welcome. Snacks, water, tools, and gloves provided. Meet at 10th Street north of Harrison (south edge of University Village), one block west of San Pablo and two blocks north of Gilman (AC Transit 72 or 25).

This event is co-sponsored by Ecocity Builders and the Codornices Creek Watershed Council; tours led by and Restoration Design Group.
