World Climate Action Work Party and Tour of Codornices Creek

For Worldwide Climate Action Day, help restore Codornices Creek, Berkeley's and Albany's only stream with rainbow trout/steelhead. Talk about how global climate change threatens our magnificent steelhead and salmon -- as well as other species including our own. Tour restoration projects from a 14-year-old "daylighting" by volunteers to ongoing creation of a new channel.

All ages welcome. Snacks, water, tools, and gloves provided. Meet at 10th Street north of Harrison (south edge of University Village), one block west of San Pablo and two blocks north of Gilman (AC Transit 72 or 25). Latecomers: from the chain link fence walk west on the trail to find us.
