As young men in their teen and young adult years strive to discover who they want to be in the world, they struggle with many challenges. There may be questions of how to deal with moodiness and isolation, friendships and peer pressure, love and sex, substance abuse, school, and conflicting messages from society about what makes a “real man.”

These mentoring groups provide a framework for growth through honest and frank conversation, movement and martial arts, and guided discussions that foster courage and life direction.

We offer young men the mentoring they need to meet their full potential.

* * Testimonial from Berkeley High School parent * *

"About three months ago I enrolled my son in a group called, "Men Coming of Age", a mentoring group for building character and equipping boys with skills specifically needed as they transition and change through adolescence, as well as encouraging healthy habits with out preaching. His  participation has made an enormous difference in outlook, his skillfulness in dealing with decisions and his overall mental health. There are still challenges, yes! It is a process.
This year has heightened my awareness of the needs of our boys as they come up through our schools and define who and what they become with or with out extra guidance.  I strongly encourage you to consider looking into this group. They are structured, organized, (not flaky) experts on boyhood to teen-hood, and could perhaps be built into an after school program. "
