Explore Cerrito Creek and Albany Hill at Dusk

An evening walk explores pedestrian and bicycle opportunities in Albany's Cerrito Creek - Albany Hill area, discover history and nature while we look for ways to make it easier for local residents to enjoy and appreciate this amazing urban wilderness, as well as improve connections for bicycle commuters and the many Albany residents living in condominiums west of the hill.

Meet at Peet's Coffee ( corner of San Pablo and Carlson). Latecomers call 510 599 4709 for a place to meet the group.

We will cross the creek on stepping stones and climb the hill on a narrow, fairly steep trail. Wear sturdy walking shoes with good traction and long pants and sleeves (poison oak near trail). Bring water, flashlight, and walking sticks if you use them. Well Behaved leashed dogs are OK. Light refreshments will be provided at the top.
