A talk by Richard Lee, club member and historian, with contributions from longtime members, plus a short tour.
Mira Vista is one of El Cerrito’s oldest and proudest institutions, dating to 1920. It occupies a beautiful Tudor clubhouse designed by Walter Ratcliff, with a course by the renowned Robert Hunter. Over the years members have kept the club alive despite many travails and ultimately came to own it. Many of El Cerrito’s brightest people have hobnobbed and politicked here. This is a rare opportunity to get an inside glimpse.
