Teacher's Behind

High school has changed considerably since I graduated some time around FDR's second (or was it third?) term.

And I'm diggin' it.

I'm on campus on special assignment and it's been quite an education.

We never had contests during lunch but at this school a favorite noon time activity is to see who can guzzle a Coke the fastest.  It's all in good fun and the sugar, I'm told, is good for you, especially when it enters the system super fast.

About thirty or so kids tried their best to speed drink the popular blend of carbonation and sugar. On this day, the winning guzzle was seven seconds!

Even the principal gave it a guzzle, and he certainly had the girth to handle it.

Other events during the week included a couple of fights, a false alarm and a stink bomb.

Still the highlight of the week was the student ability to recognize the beauty of two rounded portions of the anatomy, located on the posterior of the pelvic region of apes and humans. 

Obviously, the students had been doing their anatomy homework when they noticed an adult/teacher bending over to retrieve something from his backpack.

"Hey teacher. Nice ass!"

I've had complments before, but never by our future leaders.

Okay, it's not as exciting as Mitt Romney and his gang bullying and cutting the hair of a gay kid during his high school days, but still.

My behind is not getting any younger so to get some praise like that before it gets all narly felt pretty darn good.

Now if the middle school students next week recognize my superior posterior, then I know I've still got it going on.
