School Board Hopefuls at Forum Thursday

Another forum for school board candidates for the West Contra Costa Unified School District will be held Thursday night at El Cerrito High School.

A forum for school board candidates for the West Contra Costa Unified School District will be held Thursday, 6:30-8 p.m., at the El Cerrito High School cafeteria.

Four candidates are vying for two seats on the five-member board of the large West Contra Costa Unified School District.

The four candidates are 

  • retired school principal Randall Enos
  • parent volunteer Todd Groves
  • incumbent Antonio Medrano
  • parent volunteer Robert Studdiford

It will be the third school board candidates in El Cerrito in the run-up to the Nov. 6 election.

took place at El Cerrito High on Aug. 25, and the second was held Sept. 24 at Harding Elementary School.

Studdiford? Seriously? He shows up at this forum at ECHS visibly intoxicated. His voice was an un-natural almost womans voice and his head craned so close to the microphone we could hear him breathe. Is it even an option to allow a man that didn't even graduate high school (yeah), to serve on a school board?
