"Messy Art Day" Still On – Rain or Shine

The annual "Messy Art Day" hosted by the El Cerrito Preschool Co-op for the general public with children aged 2-6 is still on for today, Sunday. They've erected a "tent city" this year.

The annual "" where kids aged 2-6 can have fun making a mess and art at the same time is will be held today, Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cooperative.

The annual event sponsored by the co-op is open to the public, and this year will feature a "tent city" in addition to the regular messy art activiities.

"Children are invited to explore colors, textures and a variety of media in a safe, fun and messy environment," says the school's event annnouncement. "Dive into shaving cream, be a human spin-art designer, climb into a confetti tent and much more!"

"Please wear clothing suitable for fun as you are sure to go home messy," the school says.
