Visit an El Cerrito Wildlife-Friendly Garden

Learn about creating habitat for wildlife with a low-water, low-maintenance garden at this event sponsored by the city of El Cerrito's Environmental Quality Committee. Discover what plants attracts birds, butterflies and other creatures.

We will visit the El Cerrito garden of Lyn Talkovsky, who has a California native garden in the front and an informal wildlife garden in the back.

At 2 p.m., Terrel Brand of the Oaktown Native Plant Nursery will discuss habitat gardens and answer questions.
