"Taking Back Control of Your Household" Workshop at El Cerrito Community Center

Join Marsha R. Dodson and Dr. Darlene V. Willis, co-authors of "Empowering Parents: A Guide to Taking Control of Your Child's Educational Journey" for an interactive workshop.

Learn how you can ensure your child attends a college or university. Become a pro-active parent today! Parents, teachers and community members are welcome to attend.

This free program is for adults only. Dinner and childcare will be provided at no cost. Please RSVP to Sharon at 510-525-7059 or e-mail
sejohnson@cal.berkeley.edu  so we know how much food to bring.

This workshop is co-sponsored by the Portola Middle School SSC and PTSA; and the City of El Cerrito Portola, Harding and Fairmont After School Programs.

Need to bring your kids with you?  Bring them to the Community Center. Portola After School Staff will be on hand with fun activities. Kids get dinner too!
