Join Annette Fuentes, investigative reporter and author of “Lockdown High: When the Schoolhouse Becomes a Jailhouse” for a talk and discussion. After researching schools around the country, Fuentes concludes that the high tech, zero tolerance approach to school safety is not only unnecessary, but undermines the quality of education and causes many students to fail. She explores alternatives where students are not treated as criminals and learn in safe environments.
