The Most Expensive Homes For Sale In West Contra Costa

Check out these large homes in the region with all sorts of amenities

The Bay Area housing market has cooled off along with the fall weather.

In September, the median price as well as home sales in the nine-county Bay Area decreased from the month before.

Both were still up from September 2012, however.

The median price for all types of homes in the Bay Area is now $530,000, about 2 percent less than it was in August.

With that in mind, we thought we'd see what are still some of the most expensive homes for sale in West Contra Costa County.

In El Cerrito, there's this six-bedroom, six-bathroom home at 1073 Arlington Blvd. that's listed at $2.9 million.

The 6,787-square-foot house sits on 1.3 acres. It has panoramic views and hardwood floors.

In Hercules, there's this five-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home at 130 Dockside Bay that's listed at $649,900.

The 3,389-square-foot house sits on a seventh of an acre. It has a double oven, butler's pantry and back yard island grill.
