Voted Delayed On Kensington Cell Phone Antennas

The Contra Costa County Planning Commission will consider the six proposals in two weeks

The Contra Costa County Planning Commission will look again at proposals for six cell phone antennas in Kensington when it meets on Sept. 24.

The commission heard comments on Tuesday night about the half-dozen antennas before they decided to delay a vote on the applications from AT&T until Sept. 24.

If approved, the antennas would be attached to existing or new telephone poles on Windsor Avenue, Sunset Drive, Grizzly Peak Boulevard, Highgate Road, Stratford Road and Ardmore Road.
