TRAFFIC ALERT: Construction Shuts Down Part Of Moeser
Work on the busy El Cerrito Street for this phase of the Pedestrian and Bicycle Corridor Improvements Project should wrap up Friday.
Construction will continue through Friday, shutting down parts of Moeser Lane as part of the work on El Cerrito's Pedestrian and Bicycle Corridor Improvements Project.
Moeser will be closed to traffic from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., between Avis Drive and Richmond Street. Construction started Thursday.
Traffic will be detoured as follows:
- Westbound Moeser at Pomona Avenue southbound, then to Waldo Avenue westbound, then to Richmond Street northbound, then to Moeser Lane westbound.
- Eastbound Moeser Lane at Richmond Street southbound to Waldo Avenue eastbound, then to Pomona Avenue northbound, then to Moeser Lane eastbound.
- Access to the El Cerrito Community Center will be provided by allowing through traffic from Ashbury Avenue northbound.
