Full Schedule for BART Path Work Now Set in El Cerrito

BART has released the complete anticipated schedule for reconstruction of the Ohlone Greenway, showing the timeframe of the x segments in El Cerrito.

Here’s the full schedule from BART showing anticipated start and completion dates for reconstruction for various sections of the Ohlone Greenway, commonly known as “the BART path.”  The transit agency needs to do seismic reinforcement of its elevated tracks that run above the Greenway, and in cooperation with the City of El Cerrito, it is also combining the existing two paved paths, which were originally intended as separate paths for bicycles and pedestrians, into a single, wider multi-use path.  The work is projected to begin in January 2012 and be finished in January 2013.
