El Cerrito, Kensington Hosting Drug Take-Back Events

The El Cerrito and Kensington police departments are each collecting left-over prescription drugs on Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be two drop-off locations, one in El Cerrito and one in Kensington. It's part of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's annual National Take-Back Initiative.

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to give the public a opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. On Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Bring your medications for disposal to: El Cerrito Police Department hosted Drop-Off Location: Parking lot at 10940 San Pablo Avenue (between Manila and Madison) in El Cerrito & Kensington Fire Protection District hosted Drop-Off Location: 217 Arlington Avenue in Kensington.
