Brian Leubitz of the up-to-the-minute progressive blog Calitics will speak to our membership on "The Midyear Elections -- What Happened and Why?"  Mr. Leubitz, a ranking expert on California state politics, is Regional Director of CDP Region 4 (AD 12, 13, 19,) and a regular attendee and speaker at Party conventions and executive board meetings.  His presentation is bound to be thoroughly grounded, insightful, and packed with insider lore.
