El Cerrito Swim Center to Reopen Wednesday

After a two-day shutdown caused by mechanical problems, the El Cerrito Swim Center will reopen with a modified scheduled in the smaller, recreational pool, city officials said.

The El Cerrito Swim Center, which was closed because of mechanical problems for the past two days, will reopen Wednesday, Jan. 30, with an altered schedule, the city announced.

City officials announced Sunday that the Swim Center would be closed due to mechanical problems with the larger pool.

The smaller of the center's two pools, called the recreational pool, has been closed for the season, but it will be opened Wednesday with a modified schedule while repairs are being made to the larger pool, the city said.
