City's Sunday Street Party Canceled – Rain Forecast

El Cerrito's "Street Play Sunday," which had been scheduled with a partial closure of Key Boulevard on Sunday, March 25, has been canceled because of a forecast of rain. The city plans to reschedule.

Because of a rain forecast, the City of El Cerrito has canceled the street party that had been scheduled on Key Boulevard Sunday, March 25. It will be rescheduled, city staff said.

The "Street Play Sunday" had been scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the intersection of Key and Conlon Avenue, near Baxter Creek, closed to automobiles. A range of activities, including games and entertainment, had been planned.

Residents can sign up online to receive an email about when the event will be held at www.el-cerrito.org/streetplay.
