City of El Cerrito Hosting Annual Earth Day Celebration

The event is open to the community and will be held on April 26 at 9 a.m.

Information submitted by City of El Cerrito—

The City of El Cerrito is planning its annual Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 26, with morning work parties across town starting at 9:00 a.m. followed by a volunteer appreciation lunch at the El Cerrito Community Center Main Hall from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The City of El Cerrito welcomes volunteers to help tidy parks, pick up litter to help reduce the amount of trash that ends up in our creeks, waterways and the Bay, and remove broom, an invasive and fire-prone plant, from the Hillside Nature Area and along Moeser Lane. Gloves, bags and tools are provided by the City.
