Full Ell Cerrito Weekend for Earth, Recycling, Windrush, Art
Several special events are on tap this weekend in El Cerrito, including the city's annual Earth Day activities, the debut party for the new Recycling Center, a farewell celebration for Windrush School and an artist's reception at City Hall.

- Description: El Cerrito's annual Earth Day celebration, work parties to weed and spruce up the Earth from 9 a.m. to noon and then free lunch for participants at the Community Center from noon to 1:30 p.m.

- What: Farewell Celebration for Windrush School
- Description: Windrush School, which is closing in June, is a inviting all those who've been associated with the school to celebrate its 35-year history.
