Weather Service Issues High Wind Warning for East Bay Hills

The National Weather Service is warning that a mass of cold, dry air blowing in from the north will produce high winds Saturday night and increase the risk of fast-moving fires. The cold front is not expected to bring rain.

Wind gusts in the East and North Bay hills could reach speeds of 45 miles per hour, strong enough to blow down branches, trees and power lines. The high wind advisory for elevations over 1,000 feet is from Saturday night to Monday morning.
