Potrero Avenue Super 8 Robbed At Gunpoint

El Cerrito Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down two men who robbed the clerk at the Super 8 Motel, located in the 6000 block of Potrero Avenue.

The robbery happened Wednesday at 6:33 p.m. The suspects arrived in a black, four-door Mercedes with a moon-roof. The Mercedes was driven by a black male with a white BB-Cap and white shirt. One suspect, clad in a dark hooded sweatshirt approached the clerk while a second suspect, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt stood at the door, brandishing a semi-automatic handgun.

The suspects stole cash from the clerk, who was not physically injured.

The suspects are black males, in their 20's and appear to be tall, approximately 6 feet 2 inches to 6-4.
