Police Make Arrests for Assault, Burglary

SATURDAY, JUNE 4

Marijuana for Sale – At around 9:15 p.m., police arrested an 18-year-old Richmond man on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale.

Assault – Police arrested a 28-year-old El Cerrito woman on suspicion of assault on the 800 block of Liberty Street. Police arrested the woman after responding to a report of a disturbance there at around 12:55 p.m.

Assault – A 56-year-old El Cerrito man was arrested on suspicion of committing an assault on the 500 block of Kearney Street. Police arrested the man after responding to a report of a disturbance there at around 7:45 p.m.

FRIDAY, JUNE 10

Assault – Police arrested a 29-year-old El Cerrito man on suspicion of assault on the 500 block of Richmond Street. Police arrested the man after responding to a report of a disturbance there at 5:40 p.m.

MONDAY, JUNE 13

Theft – Police arrested a 21-year-old Oakland man on suspicion of stealing property at CVS on San Pablo Avenue. The theft occurred at around 9 a.m. on June 11. Police arrested the man when he returned to the store at around 8:30 a.m. on June 13.

THURSDAY, JUNE 16

Burglary – Police arrested an 18-year-Richmond man and a 17-year-old Richmond boy on suspicion of attempting to commit a burglary at a home on the 5200 block of Ernest Avenue. Police arrested the duo after responding to a report of the burglary at around 8:20 a.m.

Fraud – Police arrested a 49-year-old Richmond man and a 40-year-old Richmond woman on suspicion of committing a forgery and for possessing stolen property. Police made the arrests after responding to a report of fraud at Mechanics Bank on San Pablo Avenue at 11:42 a.m.

MONDAY, JUNE 20

Theft – A 49-year-old Richmond man was arrested on suspicion of stealing at CVS at El Cerrito Plaza. The man was arrested after police responded to a report of the theft at around 9 a.m.
