Police Ask Public's Help to ID Car Burglars

Do you know this man, captured on a surveillance camera?

The El Cerrito Police Department has released surveillance photos of suspects and a vehicle related a Feb. 26 auto burglary. Anyone who can identify the suspects or vehicle is asked to contact the department at (510) 237-3233.

According to the police bulletin:

"On February 26, 2013, at 4:30 pm, three men worked together to break the window on the victim's car and steal the victim's property.

"One man acted as the lookout, a second drove the suspect vehicle, and the third broke the window and stole a backpack.

"A surveillance camera recorded the crime. Please look at the attached photographs. The vehicle appears to be a black, older Lexus, possibly a GS series.

"Please call the El Cerrito Police if you know these men or if you see them or this vehicle."
