Man Struck, Killed by Amtrak Train Identified as Transient
Chris Chisholm, 38, was hit on Monday night in Richmond by an Emeryville-bound train.
A man was struck and killed Monday evening by an Amtrak train in Richmond, police said today.
The victim, identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as 38-year-old transient Chris Chisholm, was struck at about 7:30 p.m. near Richmond Parkway by an Emeryville-bound train, according to Richmond police.
Amtrak officials were not immediately available today to provide more details about the incident.
