At approximately 11:15 am, the Albany Police Department will hand-off the torch to the El Cerrito Police Department in front of Wells Fargo Bank at 9800 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito. The El Cerrito Police Department will carry the torch north on San Pablo Ave to Macdonald Ave, with a brief stop at City Hall (10890 San Pablo Ave.), then along San Pablo Dam Rd. where they will pass the torch to the Richmond Police Department.

The El Cerrito Police Department will carry the torch for approximately four miles of its journey through counties all over Northern California, culminating at the Opening Ceremonies of the Special Olympics Summer Games to be held at UC Davis starting on Friday, June 27th
