Fugitive Wanted in Richmond Caught Trying to Enter the United States From Mexico

Alejandro Dominguez Jr. was arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Otay Mesa port of entry Monday caught a fugitive wanted by the Richmond Police Department for homicide.

At about 5:30 p.m. June 9, Alejandro Dominguez Jr, a 21-year-old male U.S. citizen entered the port as the driver of a Toyota Corolla.

The CBP officer inspecting Dominguez discovered an active $2.2 million warrant issued at the request of the Richmond Police Department for homicide. CBP officers escorted Dominguez to a secure location for processing where they confirmed his identity, and the active warrant.

CBP officers took Dominguez into custody, and booked him into the San Diego County Jail.
