Blotter: Peeping Tom, Man with Gun Arrested on Colusa

The El Cerrito Crime Blotter for July 13-15 includes a reported peeping Tom, a briefcase and other items stolen from a car, and Kensington man arrested on Colusa Avenue for alleged illegal possession of a loaded firearm.

JULY 13th 2012 

Stolen Vehicle Recovered – 500 block of Oak Street 
Officer Wong recovered a red 1991 Toyota Camry which was reported stolen to Oakland Police on 6/27/12. 

Auto Burglary – 3400 block of Santa Clara 
Officer Wells reports an unknown suspect broke the rear driver side window of the victim’s silver 2008 Toyota 
Avalon and stole a briefcase, IPOD, and a GPS between 7/12/12 at 2200 to 7/13/12 at 1200 

JULY 14th 2012 

Stolen Vehicle Recovered – El Dorado Street at Carlson Blvd 
Officer Wong located a 1993 Plymouth Grand Voyager which was reported stolen to San Pablo Police on 06/16/12. 

Peeping – 500 block of Liberty Street 
An unknown man was seen peeping into the bedroom window of a female juvenile while she was in her bedroom on 7/12/12 at 2230 hours. The suspect was confronted by the girl’s father and fled. The incident was not immediately reported. 

JULY 15th 2012 

Vandalism – North Portion of the City 
El Cerrito officers took vandalism calls involving windows broken on 18 vehicles on 7/15/12 between 0300 and 0530 hours.

Sales of controlled substances – San Pablo Ave 
Officer Cheng arrested a 43 year old man and a 44 year old woman, both from San Francisco, during a traffic stop after he discovered they were transporting heroin and Oxycodone to sell. The man was also in possession of counterfeit currency and an illegal firearm. 

Illegal firearm – 700 block of Colusa Ave 
Officer Guzman arrested a 26 year old Kensington man after he discovered the man was a convicted felon in possession of a loaded and concealed handgun and ammunition.
