Psychologists are on the El Cerrito High School campus Tuesday after a junior at the school was killed by a BART train at the El Cerrito del Norte station earlier in the morning, according to school officials.
Fausto Delgado was killed around 5:15 a.m., according to the San Francisco Chronicle. While no other details about the death of the 16-year-old Richmond boy have been released, BART officials said Tuesday morning that they believed the death was a suicide.
The death caused the closure of the El Cerrito del Norte station.
During the closure of the El Cerrito del Norte station, a limited bus bridge was set up to accommodate the affected passengers.
