BART Delayed Following Police Activity in Oakland

By Bay City News

BART is reporting 10- to 15-minute delays to trains heading in the Pittsburg/Bay Point and Richmond directions because of police activity in Oakland.

The activity occurred at about 2:30 p.m. at the 12th Street Oakland City Center station, but the situation has since been resolved, a BART employee said.

As of 3 p.m., there were still residual delays as the system recovered from the interruption.
