Bank of America on Solano Robbed by Gunman This Morning

Albany police are seeking a masked gunman who robbed the Bank of America branch on Solano Avenue this morning, Friday.

The Solano Avenue was robbed by a gunman Friday morning, according to the Albany Police Department. 

The robbery was reported at 9:37 a.m.

No one was injured, said Lt. Dan Adams.

The man went up to one of the teller windows, produced a handgun and demanded money. 

He was wearing a skin-colored rubber mask over his face and neck.

The gunman was described as unknown race, 6 feet 2 inches tall and about 230 pounds. 

He was wearing a dark brown shirt, dark-colored leather gloves and dark pants. 

He was last seen departing on foot from the bank.
