Unnecessary Median strip!

Who and why decided to put a median strip on the corner of Eureka and Ashbury by the old firehouse(now a residence). One it further narrows an area which was not very wide in the first place and two it is just unnecessary. Is it for people who cut the corner when they turn left onto Eureka ? No, because not many people turn left at that corner.  I can see maybe why you put one at the hillside corner on Eureka , but here on Ashbury it is definitely a mistake.  By the way who is the your plant person who puts large bushes on San Pablo by Waldo and Sutter which obstructs the view of oncoming traffic when crossing San Pablo from Sutter to Waldo ( this is a  much used car crossing corner)  Come on El Cerrito!  On a positive note the median on Moeser was a good move. Keep it just the way it is to keep plant maintenance down.
