Pyramid Brewery Labor Dispute

After viewing a story last night on KTVU about the summary firing of workers by Pyramid Brewery in Berkeley who wished to unionize, I decided to share the news with friends on Facebook. It was an important story, especially with the never ending saga of organized labor's struggle to maintain a fragile foothold in our post-millennial era of 'at will' employment and long-term wage stagnation. Pyramid and its parent company have made no comment on the labor dispute, a sure sign that they are unwilling to explain or defend their position on these multiple firings. And if the beer created at this facility indeed has 'quality' issues, perhaps management should be held acccountable first, not the employees.
