No turn onto Potrero on a red light

The new intersection at Potrero and 80 functions well EXCEPT you can no longer make a right turn off the ramp east onto Potrero on a red light.  This is a big change.  For years one could stop, check to see if it was clear and proceed.  Several people I know have received tickets recently for turning on the red light.  There needs to be better signage to announce this change.
