Saturday afternoon, 11/24, 3:35pm, playing with my 10 month old pup when an SUV drove up. No one else was there and I was excited that another dog had finally arrived. Young, tanned Asian woman got out of the SUV and when she got to the gate just before entry, I asked her if her dog was ok with puppies. She didn't respond, just opened the gate and her lack of response got me to move quickly to my dog. Just before I got to her, the Siberian husky, named Kira, attacked my puppy. The woman yelled for Kira, but didn't move. I grabbed Kira by the collar as my puppy screamed and yelped. Kira had her down on her back and was biting her underarm and trying for the chest. I held Kira by the collar away from my dog and screamed for her to take her dog while I looked mine over. With my back turned to her, I was trying to gauge what had been done to my puppy. My dog was quite upset and moved to my other side so that I turned around to see Kira's owner, shoving her dog into the back of her SUV and speeding off. She never asked if my dog was ok: just sped off. I've reported the incident to animal control and thankfully, the bites didn't penetrate deeply. She'll be ok. However, dog owners should be aware of this dog. She's well taken care of and very pretty. She doesn't respond to commands and she is at least puppy aggressive. She didn't attack me, but she continued to lunge at our puppy while I put my body between her and my dog. We have no idea if the dog is current on her shots. If anyone knows this dog, please post.

“I have never seen a public servant work harder for anything than WCCUSD School Board member Charles Ramsey worked to complete the District’s ambitious program to rebuild or upgrade every single school in the system.”
I wonder how this court decision will impact WCCUSD.

State high court denies review in Alameda's Measure H suit
The ruling in the Alameda case is expected to have far reaching consequences for school districts throughout the state as similar lawsuits over parcel tax structures have been filed in Yolo, Contra Costa and Los Angeles counties.

In Hercules, we are still awaiting a correction to the taxation process, that apparently we are due a higher percentage as explained by Councilman Romero here

Wouldn't it be ironic if Mr. Ramsey get's his wish before the citizens of Hercules get theirs?
