Seren Moran Solo Art Show - "Pangea"

I'm a 24 year old artist who grew here in El Cerrito, where I am not currently living again after the last 6 years away.  I'm having this art show of a series of 28 portrait paintings I've done of people born and raised in different countries all over the world.  People I've known personally and whom have had an impact on my life.  This is the first exhibit of these paintings, and along with the paintings is an audio installation, a compilation of interviews I've had with 14 of these people.  It is a show about the interconnectedness between all of us.  That I truly believe there are reasons we like and dislike other people, but the places in which they were born really is not the deciding factor.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  You can view all the paintings as well as a bit more about me and the project on my website :
