Raku Festival

Enjoy a day of raku, a type of pottery that incorporates a specific firing process using fire and smoke to create unique patterns and designs. The afternoon will include guest lectures and demonstrations by well-known ceramicists including Bay Area sculptor Andreé Singer Thompson, Bryan Higgins, Saadi Shapiro and Bruno Kark. You will have the opportunity to fire your own work.
