NIAD Art Center Open House

We are a contemporary art studio where adults with disabilities make
some amazing art. Our artists exhibit their art regularly.  We sell it and
the artists get a cut of the sale.  We love what we do. And we’d
love to have you be a part of it.

But, you probably want to know more about what we do. So, why
not join us at our Open House, make some art with us, share lunch (we
provide the pizza and salad) and tour our program.

Our studio manager, artist Andres Cisneros-Galindo, will lead
several art-making experiences: Printmaking with clay, collage and monotype.
You can even produce poster-size prints from vinyl records. Super-cool.

Belinda Sifford, our head of client services, will lead studio tours
and answer questions. Oh yeah, we’re bilingual (English and Spanish) here, too.

There’s one catch. You need to be between 15 and 22 years old
with developmental or other disabilities.

The workshops and open house are free, but space is limited. You
must rsvp before October 11 to Belinda Sifford at 510-620-0290 or
clientservices@niadart.org (be sure to leave a call back number, if you leave a
message). Got questions? Belinda can answer them.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
