Madera Get-to-Know *Kinders & New Families*

Hosted by Current Madera Families.

Canyon Trail Park, 6757 Gatto, El Cerrito
5:30-7:30pm (come earlier, stay later, too.)* Siblings welcome* BYO (bring-your-own) picnic for "al fresco" dining while kids/adults play and chat (or eat afterwards)

RAIN or SHINE:  If too rainy to be outdoors, will relocate to Georgina's place (the Go Family home), 6620 Cutting.  If this is the case, will put a note/poster at the park. (our house is a few blocks down the hill from the park)

Contact List: After this Spring park play date, will forward contact names/emails to the incoming families, so they can continue social opportunities over the summer.  Glad to add anyone to the list. GeorginaEDW@yahoo.com

This is informal and ad-hoc, RSVP if you can (so others know who might be there), or just show up. Come early, come late, whatever works!  

The Concept
"Meet ups" at the park for current and incoming Madera families (kindergarten, and all grades welcome).  At these play dates, incoming families talk with current Madera families (some have kids in other grades).  Students mingle with friends and others in their cohort, and start to look forward to new and continuing friendships (summer play dates?) and the next grade.
