Kensington Community Council Annual Parade and Picnic

COME FOR THE PARADE AND STAY FOR THE PICNIC!

The Kensington Community Council Annual Parade and Picnic will
be held on Sunday, October 20th, from Noon to 3:30 p.m.

As has been the tradition for so many years in Kensington,
the Kensington Community Council will be holding the annual KCC Parade and
Picnic on October 20th from Noon to 3:30 p.m.  The parade participants will gather at the
ACE Hardware parking lot at Amherst and Arlington at 11:30. As a token of appreciation
of years of service to our community this year, our Grand Marshals will be Gloria
Morrison. After a quick march down the Arlington to the Community Center, the
party will begin in earnest!   As usual,
local organizations and groups are invited to participate in the parade. Wear
your Halloween costume and join the crowd as the parade makes its way down the
Arlington to the Kensington Community Center. Then, stay for the music and
delicious lunch. They will be followed by a coloring contest, 4 Cats Art booth
with a pumpkin decorating event for the children and live music for the adults.

provided this year by classic rock band, Double Shot, featuring Outlook editor
Joel Koosed on alto sax, with Marvin Gardens’ Todd Hodson sitting in on bass. If
your organization is interested in participating in the parade please contact
Marty Westby at 525-0292.
